CQRC MONTHLY MEETING (Please Join Us)

The 3rd Tuesday of each month, 7PM, The Boy Scout's Building on Kennedy Drive in Torrington, CT. Talk in is on 145.370.

The CQ Radio Club of Torrington (CQRC): Get involved with your local radio club. CQRC meets monthly at the Boy Scouts building on Kennedy Drive in Torrington. The club meets at 7:00 PM on the third Tuesday of the month.

REGION 5 ARES MONTHLY MEETING

CT REGION 5 Amateur Radio Emergency Service Group (ARES REGION 5): ARES is an exciting organization that is very well organized to provide Emergency Communication support to various public and emergency response groups. The ARES group meets monthly on the last Monday of the month at 7:00pm in Bantam at the Bantam Borough Hall. For more information contact Dave Hyatt K1DAV@arrl.net


SKYWARN MEETINGS for Litchfield County: We are in the process of organizing regular face to face meetings/events for SKYWARN. REGION 5 ARES WEEKLY TRAINING NET

The REGION 5 ARES group operates it's weekly net every Wednesday on the link system. The primary input repeater for Torrington is 145.370. For more information on the link system in CT. please visit www.kb1aev.net.

WEEKLY SKYWARN WEATHER NET

Every week we run a training weather net for Amateur Radio Operators interested or involved in SKYWARN. The net runs every Thursday evening at 8:00PM on the Torrington Repeater 145.370 (Link system). Every second Thursday we operate on our backup repeater 146.850 (PVRA System). Please join us every week. For non Amateur radio operators you can tune in with a scanner or monitor if you have the capability.
